Nadine Dorries scathing 1,778 word resignation letter printed in full in the papers
The Tories are normally a very tight knit party that look after each other. BUT when they fall out they really fall out

My childish sense of humour will always be tickled by the fact that Nadine Dorries is an anagram of Inane Disorder. On a serious note though , with every passing day this current Government looks more and more like a superannuated family pet that lies around does nothing all day long before leaving a sh1t in an inappropriate place - the sooner it`s put to sleep the better for all concerned. Dorries has spent the last year taking the absolute piss out of her constituents , taking over £7500 of taxpayers` money every month for not turning up to Parliament , not voting , and not holding constituency surgeries. Oh , but she did find the time to write a book bleating about how wonderful Boris was and how disgraceful it was that he was "assassinated" by all those limp-wristed woke lefties in the Conservative Party. In my youth I lived (briefly) in her Mid-Beds constituency and you`d struggle to find a bluer part of the country. The fact that Conservative run councils like Flitwick and Shefford have been calling for her to quit speaks volumes about what a complete waste of space she`s become , and the fact that Sunak felt unable to remove the Party whip shows how utterly weak he`s become. As much as I am uninspired and unexcited by Starmer this country is crying out for change and it can`t come soon enough to stop us becoming even more of an international embarrassment.

Favourite CUFC player: Spriggs. Dublin. Pitt. Lennett.
Favourite CUFC match: vs Leicester C (H) 1982. Without that...?

It is well known on here that I am not a Tory, so I am not sticking up for them.
Whilst I think a lot of what she has said about Sunak is true. She's basically throwing her toys out of the pram because she didn't get the peerage she was expecting. The sort of behaviour I would expect from a 5 year old

The country is in a mess & I can't see it getting any better ant time soon. Whoever gets in at the next election has got a right job on their hands
After almost 50 years of voting, I didn't think that I would ever say this, but I don't have any confidence in any of the leaders
In the past all of the leaders( not that I agreed with all of their policies) seemed to have that something extra about them. I can't see that in any of them today.
I really do feel sorry for the younger generation . I cannot see that they have a lot to look forward to
