Alan Biley was definitely there as was Derrick Christie and Shaggy. Pretty sure that I saw Tom Finney there too. Yes I think I saw him as well now I think about it. Didn't see Wolfie this year though unless I missed him!

Howard and Harwood got rid of DOC Sorry Colin but you are a long way off the truth with that statement. I did not join the Board of Directors until I sold my company in 1990. John had joined the Board a couple of years before that. In 1983 my involvement with CUFC was as a supporter and minor sponsor of the club, which gave me absolutely no influence in David Ruston's (the then Chairman) decision to part company with John Doc. I also did not know John Howard in 1983 and he also had no involvement with CUFC until years after Doc's sacking and when his support of Norwich City diminished. I guess we will be able to correlate things better when your book is published. And I always thought that JH was an Ipswich fan - that would be one hell of a 2CW if he supported both.

No, another error. Despite living near the Suffolk town, he was no lover of Ipswich Town FC. Norwich City provided his football interests until he came to CUFC.

Neither he or his ginger friend where on the board when Docherty was sacked - I pointed this out further up the thread. I suspect Colin is getting him confused with a later manager - possibly Shaggy - who had to sell all the highest paid players when they were running the show.

Right or wrong isn't the point, he's still a bellend. I don't know understand how someone who f*cked up so badly that the club took almost two decades to recover has the audacity to nitpick over something so insignificant.
Embarrassing.

Facts are facts though, no problem with that being clarified.
One thing I do know though, this is the only way we will see those two linked to a Hall of Fame dinner!
