I've seen some of the people on the coach and would tend to agree.
We travelled to Newcastle with a fairly depleted squad - three 16 year olds on the bench! - so I'm certainly not calling this one and would be disappointed if we whimpered out of it.
Two limp performances in a row would annoy me. I don't care who the opposition is.

Fine, I'll say it as Russ is too busy writing his next book. 5-0 Utd as Blackburn roll over and score a couple of OG's.

Dodgy work ethic or not, surely Gordon has to start up front if Kach is still injured?? To coin a phrase, Janneh up front, what is point?

I'd mix it up a bit and go for a 3-4-1-2, Gordon and Njoku up top. Carlisle played with 2 up top last season and their fans seemed fairly positive about his performances.

I'd rather Njoku tbh. It's a bit late to show a work ethic now and a player shouldn't have to be reminded about what's required, especially a young one looking to make his first forays into the game.
From his perspective I hope he's heard what Harris said to him because it's possibly something he needs to take in if he's going to make it in the game.

We certainly need to do something different as we didn’t carry a threat at all from open play on NYD. Pace is a strength with KaiKai, Janneh, Gordon and Njoku, so whoever plays we must provide the proper ammunition.

Njoku is cup tied having played for St Ives. The point I was about to make - I do hope we know about this and don't add him to the squad for the game! One trip to the FA carpet is allowable, two would be negligent!

Andrew I agree with all of this, but even if Njoku wasn’t cup tied it would be asking a lot to chuck him in away to Blackburn. I don’t rate Gordon but I can’t cope with Janneh up front again.

Do we know that Gordon is available as per the terms of his loan?
