I've seen some of the people on the coach and would tend to agree. Andrew On what's been a bit of a miserable day for a variety of reasons, that made me chuckle Andrew. Thank you.

Do we know that Gordon is available as per the terms of his loan? He played against Bracknell so I'd imagine so

Gordon should get a last chance to impress. Not many options, unfortunately.

When other teams find themselves without anyone to play centre-forward they stick three attacking players up front. Why don’t we try that? Kaikai, Lankester and Brophy, let’s go 4-3-3. Man City did it when Aguero left, so can we!

From the match against Orient the bench will be missing 1 to replace Thomas and Njoku cup tied. Leaving 1xgk, 2xcb,2xmf/forwards. so just 5 on the bench. NH might just go with that, but if he wants to pad out the bench then he might recall some loanees. He mentioned St Albans (Hoddle). St Ives both Njoku & Barton have been cup tied and Biggleswade (Kaunda). Simper was not mentioned at all is he injured? So, I'm thinking maybe go 5 at the back the squad looking something like this.
JStevens
LBennett RBennett MMorrison DAndrew JBrophy
JCousins PDigby
JKankester AMay
JKGordon
subs WMannion JOkedina ZRossi SKaikai SJannah GHoddle KKaunda LSimper ANother
It would be bold but what has he too lose (apart from the match of course) but most of us are expecting that to happen I think, and it might just work!

I’d hope that’s lesson learned about the wisdom of making snarky criticism to the media singling out players for apparently having a poor attitude. Do it directly in person behind closed doors.

Those comments feel like a bit of a softening of what he said last week. He could've been a little less blunt with his comments perhaps, but he was asked a direct question about JKG and I would rather hear something honest.
Hopefully Gordon responds positively tomorrow.
Quite a few people were upset when Bonner used to criticise the team though, so I wonder how they feel about the comments about JKG.

I wonder if some of these injuries have come not only from the bad weather / pitch conditions but a need to "get stuck in" and impress the new manager in training... his teams are well-known to play ugly when they need to. Perhaps some over-enthusiasm recently has seen us pick up more niggles than we might usually.

No issues with it in principle, everyone has their own methods of motivation. You can bake a cake in different ways but you need the right ingredients to get the proof of the pudding you desire. A-ha.

Amazed with all this talk of playing gks up top and recalling loanees no-one has suggested we bring Chadwick back after his goalscoring heroics a few weeks back

Or Zeno the big target man I wonder it other clubs' fans are as obsessed with the idea of playing defenders out of position as ours seem to be. The Dion Effect?
