Janneh has the worst 1st touch as a footballer you will ever see ,What happened to the player that looked awesome earlier in the season as he now looks like he won a raffle to be a footballer for the day Don't mean to sound harsh on him, but it was 2 good matches. We'd not really seen much in his time with us before then either.

Would have been good to see Njoku on about an hour earlier than he was. That would have solved the striking option problem.

Njoku's genuinely had some nice linkup play so far, that's a silver lining.

Only 4 pts off bottom 4 need new players this week not in 3 weeks time like the normal Strang deals in which we end up with a kid at last minute who sits on the bench.

I doubt janneh will put on the shirt again, okindena not good enough, Stevens starting to look really poor, and despite the lack of fit strikers, some are already on NH back, time to dry your tears or follow MB onto he's next venture.

Part of the challenge of having players who are outside our budget in terms of quality but with shite injury records. You can volley a shot in from half way on your off foot but if it’s constantly in a cast there’s little point.

That was disappointing, especially in an error strewn second half where we never even looked like getting our game going.
First half was reasonable enough with some good football in parts (Jack was slippery) but none of it was impactful enough often enough to really stretch their defence or get in behind them. A lack of a proper striker is a reason for that of course, but we have specialist players in all other positions and I felt Orient were a touch quicker, sharper, stronger and ultimately showed a shade more quality in most of those positions. Pretty even first half all the same i'd say, though orient shaded it.
I felt a bit for Janneh, I don't think he was able to field a single pass that suits his style of play, and he's not even remotely close to being the sort of player who can bully a defence and pull them out of shape like Ahadme does. He was very comfortably pocketed today.
The goals were awful. A weak clearance for the first causing problems for the first, and an error from Jubril for the second. Andrew tried to give them a third. Digby tried to give them a goal in the first half with a sloppy pass. Not good enough, teams should have to work harder than that to beat us...and in fairness errors aside they generally did.
I hoped for a bit more with the extra couple of days rest in our favour tbh.
Delighted for Njoku. Whenever I've seen him his running, positioning, movement and finishing has been excellent and his touch has been a bit heavy. I think there's a decent player there.

I've not been so angry at a united game for a long time. Exacerbated by a 7+k crowd and we our first shot in target is in the 98th minute.
I've been weighing up who / what is most responsible? A) bad recruitment in the summer b) losing all three strikers c) Our tactics on the day. I've chosen option C. We knew what players we had available since boxing day, we had time to adjust. Instead we kept hoofing it up to Jannah and Thomas/Kaikai/Lankester inspite of their lack of height and inability to win and hold up a ball. Yes, we're depleted, but come on - adjust and adapt. Responsibility lies firmly with Harris for me.
Other thoughts:
- it pains me to say it because I had high hopes, but I never want to see Janneh play for united again. - Okedina: solely responsible for both goals. Needs to be 3rd in the pecking order now, behind R Bennett and Ibsen Rossi - the latter I'd like to see more of. - Brophy strangely anonymous all game. - My heart sank when I saw Njoku come on - he's smaller than Thomas and Janneh! In fairness we created more with him in the pitch than without him though. - Lankaster. I've stuck up for him when others have turned but I'm beginning to really lose patience now. As our most attacking midfielder, he's only scored one goal all season. He drifted in and out of the game all day as he does too often. - Only players to come out of the game well for me were Liam Bennett (as usual), Jordan Cousins and Danny Andrew.
It goes without saying we're desperate for strikers, but if we're going to play hoof ball then put someone up top tall enough to hold it up. Honestly - Digby or Morrison would have done a better job up top than Janneh today.
Tactics all wrong - first awful performance under Harris. Hope for a strong reaction.

Agree with that entirely and I think your last sentence sums it up - all about the reaction now. A good performance and today can be quickly forgotten as a blip.
