Cheltenham sold their best player in Goodwin to Oxford and have replaced him with Matt Taylor from FGR and Joe Nuttall on loan from Oldham. Street is also now out for the season having got injured on Saturday. Ouch. Think that puts a pretty big dent in their survival hopes.

Cheltenham and Port Vale fans are up in arms at their January business. Port Vale lost Uche for a long period which would leave the crocked James Wilson as there only striker. They had Harry Smith in the building but it didn't beat the deadline so at 9/1 they are a big shout for relegation now. Cheltenham sold their best player in Goodwin to Oxford and have replaced him with Matt Taylor from FGR and Joe Nuttall on loan from Oldham. Add to that Vale loanee Rhys Williams is injured and has had to return to Liverpool.

In the "drawn in" camp for me, stick or twist doesn't always pay off for twist. Be redundant otherwise.
But drawn in could apply to half the divsion.

I have it on good authority that they ‘cashed in’ the sell on option on Toney a while ago, for a less than 1m. That lot are a house of cards that just won’t fall over. One day. Will That would be truly hilarious if it's true. What a load of utter utter sh/te. Is there any other club rivalry where one fanbase survives on the desperate hopes of financial failure instead of the boasts of qualities on the pitch. Again, I arrive back since just after the last match and you're still banging on about inbred, financial irregularities and memories of us failing in getting a gnats c@ck from Wembley. And you're still, yep still scraping football fraternities most unwanted, injury prone, sell by date past footballers for a signing on the half way house existance of JUST staving off relegation. It never changes.

It never changes Yet you still taken a bite…….to be honest i’m not bothered about the financial side of it. You sold EMC for reportedly £3m to coventry and loaned back. The model you have is high gearing running a higher budget paid for by player sales. We have a low budget but bring in players with something to prove at the moment. I live in County Durham and can confirm the tyne & wear rivalry is similar to ours - talking about financial rivalries, slagging towns off etc.
