www.transfermarkt.co.uk/league-one/transfers/wettbewerb/GB3/plus/?saison_id=2023&s_w=w&leihe=1&intern=0&intern=1Not happy about Northampton loaning out young players with St.Ives Town. It feels like poaching in some way. Nothing exciting bar the second half of the Gatehead loan, so far. We should have this thread for when it all kicks off more. Some free transfers going on. Charlie Kirk out from Charlton. Ovie Ejaria very highly valued to let go. Injuries? Ejaria was on £650,000 year at Reading so that is probably a cost cutting exercise. Still, no takers, he may be holding out for too much?

Fleetwood & Shrewsbury in particular, & also Lincoln have made a lot of signings from the League of Ireland over the past couple of years.
Pilley owns Waterford as well as Fleetwood.

And a couple of packs of ramen if he's doing well.

Another LoI signing made by Lincoln.

Joe Taylor who has been scoring well for COLU (12 in 27) on loan from Luton has now gone to Lincoln (1 who might have done well here)

Lee Gregory (who some linked with us due to Harris), now linked to Mansfield Town

Must admit, getting a little nervous. Keep seeing all these 'window' signings at other clubs, and if nothing happens again this week, we'll be going into another weekend with no recognised central forward.

Rumour has been knocking around a long while, local to him and they're paying good money.

Starting to feel like last season yet? Although ended up decent with Rennett, Morro and McGrandles.

Joe Taylor has gone to Lincoln City on loan after scoring 12 for Col U first half of the season.
Was at Kings Lynn Town who treated him terribly after a stupidly good loan at Wroxham & went to them up the road before Luton.
Another non-league player based within an hour of us that we missed out on originally & out of our price range for his latest loan I suspect.

Only 19, so 'one for the future' working with their U21 team, rather than going straight into the first team squad, but that is not a route we are really able to offer to youngsters. Means we can often miss out on those with potential.
