It's 12th v 11th in the form table...our record of 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat are exactly the same over a six game period. As is the number of goals scored (7). Burtons place above us only through concerning one fewer (5 to our 6)
However, we're 9th over our our last six home games and they're 23rd in their last six away games so...it's a game we should fancy ourselves winning against another team looking not to get dragged into the six or so that often get cut adrift when the league starts to separate.
I reckoned 7 points from this block of games taking in Fleetwood, Exeter, Burtons and Shrewsbury would be a good return so to hit that a game early would be very pleasing.
So...hopefully a couple of players in by the weekend because Harris is being hampered by our injury problems and slow transfer market. Saturday was calling out for him to do *something* from the bench if only there was something he could've done.
I know it's not easy to sign players so I understand the delay, but bloody hell let's get someone(s) in, please.

If we take 4 points from the next 2 as we did from the last 2 games then we we will be were we need to be. Tougher challenges ahead but once we can add some players in the next 10 days and get some back then we can be more competitive

Even a short spell of that would see us safe well ahead of schedule. Maybe attendences would start to match capacity. Reminder that Newmarket Road park and ride is free to park if you walk to the ground. ( Edit in bold)

Nah, I think just a 2 point average from the block of four games including Fleetwood (h), Exeter (a), Burtons (h) and Shrewsbury (a).
The next four of Bolton (h), Cheltenham (a), Portsmuff (a) and Carlisle (a) I'd probably say 3-4 points would be a good return.

It was really bad, please not again.

I'll be pretty disappointed at not taking at least 4 points from Cheltenham & Carlisle.

Oh, Cheltenham home, yeah. 🤦🏻♂️
In that case I'd probably be looking at about five points as being a good return from those games.

I am looking for a repeat of 4 points from ‘relegation’ rivals’ like we’ve got from Fleetwood & Exeter. Get that (or more) from Burton & Shrewsbury and we are on track. I don’t then expect many points from Bolton & Portsmouth away but do against Cheltenham so would again take 4 points now if you offered them to me.
