If any of you NRE youngsters are reading this thread, on Saturday pull your fingers out of your phone sockets and make some bloody noise for a change. This game matters. I won't be there very sadly but I'll tell my son and his mates to look out for Andy and some other old hands who'll be leading the chants! Seriously though, surely everyone knows that blaming young people for everything is just fucking tragic. They see the world they've been brought into react accordingly. If you think they need inspiration then do something inspirational! Said in the spirit of comradery and as a dad who has said stoplooking at your phone far too many times despite the fact that I look at mine too much!

Looking forward to the press Corrference later.
I enjoy Barry's Corrferences. He's always measured, informative and interesting.
He was note perfect after Bonner left, it strikes me as a much harder task to lift a club that was in a poor place under Bonner but also almost 'bereaved' when he was sacked than it does to channel some the anger and disappointment there is from Thingy leaving.
Anyway, can't wait for Saturday.

This time around Barry Corr will know his fate, whereas when Bonner was sacked he was probably fearing his job too.
It's clear the board see Barry as a big part of the plans and the new manager search should be with Corr staying. Hopefully that gives Barry full focus on Saturday and lifting the players to ensure we go all out to win the game.

Yeah, he was very low and uncertain in that interview before Fleetwood. He absolutely hit the mood of the fans with a nail to the head and it's actually pretty remarkable he was able to get that level of performance out of the players given his sense of shock and uncertainty.
He seems like a good man does our Barry. I like having people like him involved in the club.

Yes, packed out as well, more noise on a cold conference evening, with 2000 odd in the ground.

Hopefully that gives Barry full focus on Saturday and lifting the players to ensure we go all out to win the game. This is when the Head Coach model works well as Corr & Betsy remain in place. If Harris had bought Livermore in and we let Corr go we may have ended up with Liam O'Neil or a youth coach having to take charge or even Morro! Its why I guess Cowley didn't fit because of his brother.

Liam and Morro would be amazing 😍..
..but yeah, I'm so glad we have that long term commitment in place with Corr. He seems genuinely happy to be a part of the club and those kinds of connections should be valued over and above getting Dog Livermore or Other Cowley
