How long we got Liam Bennett for? His contact expires in the summer, no? Has a one year extension on it

Aye ElG just mentioned in another thread that we have an option for another year. Thought he was still on a longer contract than that. Time flies

I noticed on the Gibbons video that whoever asking the questions says he's he's here on a short term loan deal "initially". He's out of contract at the end of the season, so wonder if this is seen as a trial period to maybe offer him a contract and cash in on Lennett in the summer. He's obviously been brought in with one eye on the future, yeah.

I have a complaint. My Liam Bennett button says James Gibbons.

If Harris drops Bennett for him would he be sacked before March comes around? I was close.

Kaikai's the only choice for this one, although for overall level of performance I think Lankester was probably "better".

Andrew deserves one of these for consistency but Kaikai has a productive month

Anyone else hope Gibbons gets offered a deal. Has looked very good and played across the back. Has a nasty little thug vibe about him (in a good way).

He didn't look very good last night in all honesty, which isn't a slight on him, but has generally impressed enough at full-back. I'd be open to keeping him for sure – especially as I think it's quite likely Bennett's sold this summer and having someone able to play on both sides is incredibly useful – but also wouldn't be aggrieved if we decided against it. I would however be disappointed if we went into the season with him as a clear first choice, because his ability is limited. His attitude and mentality is top-drawer though.

Maybe. I do like that he's a bit of a nasty bastard who puts effort into it...but he's another one with limited ability so I think we're just repeating the same mistakes if we sign him.
As above, not against it but not too bothered if we let him go.

Can`t fault his work rate or commitment, so yep I`d snap him up for the next couple of years !
