He does mention a significant investment last January to strengthen the squad, players wages? Not sure how much that would add to the loss.

There will be a load of sunk costs associated with: - the stadium buy-back - the training ground build - planning for the stadium redevelopment
These are really big projects and will have serious costs associated with them. They will also be unpredictable in terms of the time that key steps take - we will need to be patient.

Such an odd question! I'm sure there's more than one company with Cambridge worth a few quid too and that someone puts 'feelers' out! Please don’t take away my BrewBoard….. I'd be in favour of taking them away as their beer really isn't to my taste. I fail to see the relevance to the original bizarre question.

As texaspete mentions further up I'd also like to know a bit more about our American investors and what they want / expect from their investments. I think they own 30% between them so it's certainly not insignificant.

There is a lot of planned redevelopment of East Cambridge going on at the moment, from The Grafton to Barnwell. Paul mentions that he wants to see how a redeveloped stadium can dovetail in with those plans. A big new NRE would certainly enhance the frontage of the Abbey but dont rule out going back to a new stadium build near the A14 partly financed by the sale of our site for new housing.

That was my thoughts Bushy the minute I read his statement. Otherwise, I'm struggling to see where any dovetailing would happen with the current site.

What a depressing thought, if the relocation merry go round starts again.

Presumably the issues would be around traffic and transport capacity? All of those developments could change or add to traffic density so the planners will, I guess, want to look at the combined effect...

Like Bonner was, Barry is definitely on this MB too: 'We hope to say more by the end of the season but please don’t confuse silence with inactivity.' Perhaps him or Bonner is Ambelrline they’ve not posted for a while… Aha! Yes. And what of UGirl? I thought she might be the well-fed person in the centre-circle at half-time with a pitchfork.

I get that nick but it shouldn't be at the detriment of United, especially as other projects have been given the go ahead. United can't be restricted or blamed for the current clusterf*ck that is Cambridge's transportation system and road network. If they (council) want us out the way, then they better be well supportive, positive and assist financially.

Too many people are adding 2+2 and finding their own alternative answer! PB has been adamant that redeveloping the Abbey is his preferred option, no talk at all from him of an alternative ground - if that was the case, why would he buy back from Grosvenor? Time to let the discussions go on in the dark corners and be patient for news.

Presumably so that we would control the relocation and all profit from the sale of the Abbey could be put into the new stadium. Any new build from Grosvenor would have been pretty basic I imagine...and I'd've suspected any profits gained from other commercial sh*t built around it would be theirs.
Anyway, yeah. I got the impression redevelopment is still the number one plan.
