Crikey.
When Bonner was sacked I said I didn’t want us to be one of those clubs that changes manager every two minutes.
But even I didn’t expect this.
Previous people we interviewed in jobs now.
What a mess.

Wouldn't blame him, but wouldn't welcome him back either.

It was obvious from his early interviews that he wasn't planning on being here long term but a couple of months is really taking the piss. No it’s not. Better job, more money, higher league. Club your a legend at. What’s not to like. I doubt he thought this would be happening. This. It is annoying though that NH made a big song and dance in his first presser about what a stable club CUFC are and that it’s a great long term project. Obviously this hasn’t aged well!

Let's calm down though because he's not gone anywhere yet.

I guess its the 'only' club he would go back to. As EG says above its the destablising effect that it has on the players. I guess its something no one saw coming but the fact its on SSN suggests its done. FWIW its not the right time for a Bonner come back either. That is something that may happen in the future but not 3 months after sacking him. My take would be to give it to Corr until the end and try and find an experienced No 2 to work alongside him. What a crazy 24 hours this is turning in to!

I guess its something no one saw coming but the fact its on SSN suggests its done. No, it suggests they're made an approach for him. That's not the same thing. And no, obviously no one would seriously suggest getting Bonner back in right now. We're not Peterborough.

"Consider us being in the Championship in 7 years' time, on terrible form & looking like we might get relegated. We sack our manager & make contact with Bonner, who's currently in charge at L1 Colchester. I'd expect him to want it & couldn't judge him for taking it"
Heh, yeah absolutely, but then I wouldn't expect Colchester to be very happy with Bonner if he'd only been there 3 months and pointedly talked about how much the area means to him and his family.
I think we'll stay up regardless so I'm not especially bothered from that perspective...I even expected it might happen at the end of the season tbh.
I'm sure we'll get confirmation one way or the other soon.

Let's calm down though because he's not gone anywhere yet. There's enough to suggest its happening. Sky and National papers are reporting it not EFL league 1 bedroom rumours!

Looks like it's going to happen.
A personally known Millwall employee is refusing to say anything at all about it to me. So I reckon it's happening.
I just hope CUFC get some decent compensation out if this.
Who do we get in now? Most of the names that were banded around after the Bonnet sacking have now found new clubs.
I said from the outset that I was "underwhelmed" by Harris's appointment.i didn't expect him to jump ship so damn quickly. I guess money talks!

Again, clearly an approach has been made. That isn't the same thing as Harris being appointed Millwall manager. Remember when Bonner was appointed Rotherham manager?

Did Taylor deliberately get a red knowing Harris is going ?
