What's the opposite of a new manager bounce? I didn't expect him to see the season out after Tuesday night, I now don't expect him to see the night out and in reality it's our only hope.

I’m not defending him but he’s inherited a squad that has been mostly crap all season. Guardiola probably couldn’t get this lot to put in a half decent performance.

Harris got 18 points from 42 with this squad. I'm starting to think that he is a decent manager, just a bit of a sponge, unfortunately.

This team won 4 of their first six games of the season and kept clean sheets in 8 of our first 16 games. They have the ability. Unfortunately, they went stale under Bonz. Harris came is and played pragmatic football which picked up points, exactly what we needed at the time. We're not promotion contenders, but this group has enough ability. When I left the Abbey after a tight defeat to a very good Bolton side, 38 points already on the board, I had no doubt we'd stay up. Since Harris walked, it's all gone to sh*t and Monk's appointment has made us worse.

So why, oh why, put a knob in charge of a stream of effluent?

I've lasted about thirty seconds of any interview with Monk. He could cure insomnia in a cocaine factory.

Agree, monk out. Seems clueless and totally lacking in ability to affect this bunch. Also complete change of coaching staff needed. If we go down I don’t want monk in charge of recruiting a new squad

On a dark day in a dark period, that joke just lightened the mood more than anything Monk has done since his arrival.

Harris could get it up after a night on the gak and then stick it in his wife's best mate.
That's just the kind of man he is.

Hate to say it but that wonky faced cockney did get a bit of a tune out of this lot. I have no faith that Monk can. And it's looking like an increasingly bizarre appointment. Perhaps we can use the Harris pay off money to...pay off Monk?

Running out of games to pick up points. Who fancies any out of Barnsley, Wigan, Blackpool, Charlton, Rovers, Derby, Wycombe?
I can't believe I'm saying this so soon into a manager's tenure, but he's got to pull a rabbit out of a hat soon. 10 goals in two games against midtable opposition, and it could've been worse. If we're this bad against Barnsley after having the time to intensively interact with the players, he's seriously at risk.

I can't believe I'm thinking it either but we're in desperate trouble and while I wanted to believe in him ...I can't. This is just horrible.
