If we get nothing from the next two games with Lincoln and Reading, I just don't see where the points are coming from for us to stay up. Wycombe and Charlton at home look like must-wins. I don't fancy a squeaky arse time on 27 April against Port Vale who may already have been relegated and will have nothing to lose. We're doomed! (with Scottish accent) Don’t panic.

Can you buy tickets for this on the day, for those of us who might be able to make it but are still not sure?
Edit: quickly found out that you can.

With our form, you could see us not only being relegated but dropping out of the entire league next year, just like Forest Green look to be doing. Let's hope Monk gets a grip on things soon. I'm glad I never had you in the trenches with me. Lighten up man! He's the son of tony1967....he never had a chance...

He doesn't really answer any questions, does he? I'm none the wiser about anything after listening to that. A little more transparency would be appreciated by the fan base I think Garry. After all, I don't think Lincoln's game plan will change much if they know that Jubril is fit enough to warm the bench. Also, he was weirdly evasive about Dunks status as he was before the Northampton game.

Not to complain about the journalists too much, but he's asked about injuries, tells us that Gassan, Fejiri and Jibril are closest but the rest are a bit further out. Then he's asked about 4 follow up questions even after admitting he can't remember the exact timelines - it's hardly shocking he's focussed on the players that'll feature in the next handful of games.

He's still getting to know all the players and probably where they all are injry wise. Jubril, Gassan & Fejiri are all back in training from the photo's they've shown. Maybe yes the club or Physio could give more of an update or perhaps the journo's could ask in advance for an update on Harrison so he's prepared for next time. Harrison was at the game and walking round on Saturday but its obvious he's had a setback as he was hoping to be back at the end of Jan originally.

Frustratingly that was 2 press conferences in a row that he admitted he had forgotten to bring the sheet with the injury updates with him - excusable given the circumstances as you describe, but don't admit it! And come better prepared next time. I do think some of the journalists ask very one dimensional questions, as if they are pushing on the same theme, hoping to get a different answer.

Reasonable, regular injury updates have been an issue for a few years now. It has improved over the last 6 months or so but maybe this is why the journalists have started to press a little harder.
We don't expect blow by blow accounts of injured players progress but rough timescales (if known) and updates should that change are not unreasonable expectations.

I think it's pretty clear, and completely understandable, that Monk doesn't have a full grasp on all the players just yet.
Given everything else that's going on, having 2 matches to prepare for along with everything else that comes with joining & settling into a new club in his first 8 days, I don't think it's particularly unreasonable for him to not be worrying, nor have the specifics in his head, about the players who aren't back in training or close to being so really.
Obviously we want to hear about Dunk but Monk's focus is clearly on the ones who'll likely be able to contribute before the end of March, and we got the answer as to whom they are.

Yeah, definite priorities for now. Injury updates are something I'd like us to be better at in the future though.
I'm interested, generally, in hearing from the backroom staff periodically actually. Similar to how to we get an update from the CEO every couple of months i'd really appreciate hearimg from Liam about the youth team, or from Strang etc.
