Our decision to keep Corr & Betsy over Duff or Rowettt is looking as pathetic as it should be I don’t disagree with the argument that we should really question the decision to keep the coaching staff in place, but do you really think that was the only obstacle to us appointing Duff or Rowett? Surely the fact that it would have represented an obvious backwards step in both their careers had more to do with it…

I thought he was ok. It was a very confused looking first half and he was no exception, the difference being that he was actually quite capable when he got the ball.

Taylor seems to have gone from a potential future manager (it’s on here somewhere) to not fit to wear the shirt in a very short space of time, even by this forums standards. When Harris went I feared what might happen to Taylor. To me he comes across as quite an emotional player, and when he came here he made a prolonged point about he'd played his best football when he felt wanted, and appreciated, I would imagine. When Harris left I wondered how he would be and I think he's floundering again. It would seem be needs the proverbial 'arm round his shoulder' managerial strength. Does Monk have this awareness, those man management skills. I wonder. People on here slagging him off is having exactly the opposite effect of what he needs. You never know he might read this board?

What’s wrong with Taylor? He wasn’t the problem at either Lincoln or Reading.

Taylor's a career narcissist on c.£3k per week. His pronouncements - implied or explicitly stated - about Covid vaccines, BLM, Corbyn's tax policies & women's football are consistent with a sub-intellectual, attention-seeking idiot. It's always been about Taylor.
Harris's tenure has probably been the most damaging episode in this football club's recent history since that of Gary 'The Lavatory' Harwood (who now lives in Peterboring, BTW). He has unleashed chaos, demoralisation, insane decision-making & a legacy of even more hopeless contracted players.

His movement and workrate didn't look great in either game but it's certainly not our biggest problem right now...and you really have to question the service to him.
He was the wrong type of player for what we needed at the time I thought. I assumed we'd go for a hold up player who can play with his back to goal, Taylor needs it to feet which we're really not going to be good at. He had fewer touches than everyone apart from Gassan and Lankester who came on with 10 and 20 minutes respectively. That's damning of us and him...
..that said, I do think he's got obvious quality and I'd like to see him and Gassan in a two. They feel like they should compliment each other.

What's the story about Taylor refusing to wear the 'Her Game Too' T-shirt? I missed it. Presumably along the lines that women are actually alien creatures from the planet Zorg controlled by a Marxist cabal? Or some other weird rubbish Kentish Perhaps he thinks politics should be kept out of sport?

Missed this one (not sadly) but intrigued to how Bennett did on the wing? Not much chat about it so assume he was fine but didn't really pull up any trees? Assumed wrongly, there just so many major things wrong with yesterday. This was one of them, Lennett looked lost and ended up on the left sometimes. Also didn't seem to be clear where he should be dropping back to outside of position. Either inside or outside of Gibbons Yet there were plenty of people on this forum wanting him to play on the right wing! Can’t please everyone I suppose. I certainly don’t remember him being on the left at any time in the game. I thought he did ok and got a number of crosses into the box. Not that we had any strikers available to get on the end of them.

He's the only player we have that drives down the wing and almost always gets a good cross in.
