Honestly I'm kinda surprised people are really considering Morro. Like, yeah, moment of magic, and some decent performances in places, but he was one half of the terrible central defensive units for the scum, cobblers, lincoln, pompey, chavs, bolton, reading (etc!) games, and even when we weren't conceding hatfuls, we were often sat deep and ineffective in midfield to compensate for the immobility of him and Rennet as a partnership. To be clear, the partnership was the problem more than the person, (even if he didn't really impress as part of Morrokedina either), and I do rate the guy, but neither he nor Rennet should be anywhere near this discussion Get what you're saying but we've kept 13 clean sheets in the league this year. We've kept the opposition out in a third of our games, which is comparable to some of the league's top sides. Defence rather than midfield or attack is our obvious strong suit and IMO Morro has been the most consistent of the defenders with less obvious errors than Rennett or Lennett.

It’ll be Lennett. Forgone conclusion.
Andrew should have a look in imo.
Most of the rest can get to f*ck and I can’t wait to see them leave.

We've had a few batterings this season, but aside from those 4 or 5 games, our defence has been the most consistently good thing about us this season. The midfield being deep is a separate problem of Cousins and Digby being too similar rather than the defence. We've kept a decent number of clean sheets and haven't conceded many goals in average (yes, aside 4 or 5 games). It was only 18 months ago the we had Taylor and Okedina at centre back for a run of games - Morrison and Bennett, although slow, have been a massive upgrade. It is harsh. But after bouncing it around the ol' cavern that's supposed to hold a brain, I couldn't find where it wasn't true.

There was a period where there were calls for Lennett to be dropped or move position, his statistical output also doesn't quite match the enjoyment in watching him play, a bit more effectiveness would make him a potential Championship player.

Despite being a Cambridge United, I watch football to be entertained. Lennett entertains every game whether good or bad. He gets my vote.

I've gone for the most consistent player we've got and that's Danny Andrew
A close second was Lennett who i'm sure will win it with ease

Danny Andrew was my vote too. Appreciate he's getting on a bit but hope we extend his contract for another season.
