Birmingham Mail's reporter, "He looked very, very neat on the ball, not afraid to take possession and retain it in tight spots and also good at finding little angles around and in the box. He is a languid mover with good pace and plays with his head up, looking to bring others into the game."[20] He made five more appearances (two starts) in what remained of the season. If he has got good pace I wonder why he's languid?

Excellent news for an important area. Now I’ll get straight onto my QPR ST holder mate to get the verdict on him.
Welcome to the U’s Taylor

Welcome Taylor! This is an intriguing signing of a clearly quality player looking to get back to his best. Probably exactly what we need in terms of position and excited to see him play.
In more important news, Adie who sits four seats down from me in C Block is well known for his cry of ‘Taylor…’ when Greg was hopeless in the past. Always made us laugh. When Lyle the snake joined last year I was glad we had another ‘Taylor’ just for Adie, and I was worried when Lyle left that we’d miss this opportunity going forward. If Adie angrily yells ‘Richards…’ after a mid-hit pass in the forthcoming season I shall be mortified..

QPR mate says: "Techincally brilliant but attitude problem". Make of that what you will. Hardly played for them,Let's hope a change of scenery works for him!

Losing his best mate would probably account for that.
Can't imagine that was easy for a young lad so it's a little hard to hear of his grieving process being written off as an 'attitude problem'.
Welcome to United Taylor, we'll look after you my friend.

Welcome to United Taylor, we'll look after you my friend. Andrew I have no previous knowledge or comment on this was just passing on. That's obviously awful. Friend has mentioned since that that incident the cause behind his struggles.

95% of all uses of languid in football are about Dimitar Berbatov.

I Wiki’d Taylor earlier to see he was born in Hammersmith, as was I. As such he is now my favourite player for the season ahead! I can see why he went to QPR, it is broadly ‘home’ for us West Londoners. Whatever, he’ll hopefully blossom again as a player with us.

Like the sound of this lad, his attributes are all those that we have been missing. Welcome to our great club, hope we can be the platform to a great career ahead.

The lad clearly needs to get some confidence back - clearly has a good pedigree and offers us quality in the right area. Lets back the lad.

Fan forums are funny. 120+ posts on a new striker from port vale (on a 3yr of course), and only 40+ on a midfielder who has been bought in the past for £2.5m, with Man City / Brighton on his CV, and the majority of his performances in the champ. If this guy stays fit / hits form, he could he massive for us 😂
