Fan forums are funny. 120+ posts on a new striker from port vale (on a 3yr of course), and only 40+ on a midfielder who has been bought in the past for £2.5m, with Man City / Brighton on his CV, and the majority of his performances in the champ. If this guy stays fit / hits form, he could he massive for us 😂 Headline writers know full well that controversy generates more engagement than good news. The true is same here as there it is.

Both of them are going to need the fans to get behind them

A season long loan of a higher league prospect is never going to get as much fuss as a player brought in as our own, I don't think. I'm excited to watch him play and hope he does well for us, but all that'll do is increase his value to his parent club, who could potentially call him back after we've spent months developing him.

That's exactly why I'm not a big fan of loans, but sometimes needs must.

Is that last sentence a quote from star wars?

His shots are a bit central, but there is clear potential there.

Looks a player. Let's hope Monk can get the best out of him and he excels here.

There does seem to be more than a touch of the Ravel Morrison's about Taylor. I really hope that Garry can get him properly on the straight and narrow and critically enjoying his football again.

I was expecting more along the lines of an exciting youth prospect that failed to make the step up to week in week out men’s football and very little is known about his football due to not enough appearances etc with maybe a little bit of off-field problems.
But reading those accounts from QPR and Doncaster fans surprised me.
Could be an interesting time watching him play for us. Hopefully our coaching staff can coax some good performances from him and he gets to enjoy his football and time with us.
