We are rubbish, but there are loads of teams in this league who are equally bad. Turn things round starting today and we could be in L1 next season! It’s only October!

I liked Liam Bennet on corners from the left. Proper in swinging whip on them. Think Morrison should have scored with a free header from one of them in the 1st half.
Liam Bennet just overall. He must start if fit. The only borderline positive from last night.

The club is offering support to anyone who needs it, including MyNurva opening up their 1:1 video therapy service to all fans, not just season ticket holders. Still getting some things bang on 💛🖤

Well done to James Gibson too for alerting the ref that there was a problem in the crowd so the match could be paused.
And although the group in the NRE saw what was happening and got the message across to the officials that something was wrong, it was bad form to jeer the paramedics for not being Usain Bolt as they made their way across the pitch. Wearing clothes not made for running and carrying a ton of stuff across a soaking wet, slippery grass pitch is not easy.

It’s rare to see Paramedics run because they don’t want to risk falling and injuring themselves. I do think they could have been a little quicker in their response though. Was a worrying, scary time for everyone and I have no problem with fans urging them to hurry up.
Best wishes to the fellow fan and hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Annoys me every time a crowd reacts this way - paramedics are not allowed to run. They’re supposed to be calm and fully survey a situation, and so are not supposed to run. No crowd ever seems to know this and kicking up a storm only makes things worse.

Quite.
Congratulations to the paramedics who quite possibly saved a mans life last night. I am in awe of you.

This was clearly visible from the NRE and naturally caused some panic which led to the urging for the paramedics to hurry up. Might not be the correct reaction but an understandable one.

Charlton forum is always a good read when they lose. They have invested heavily in Jones and the natives are not happy.

There were already some medical staff with him as there are some stationed at the corner of the Habbin/NRE but i'm sure the extra help came in handy. He had collapsed just before kick off so they had been with him for some time at that point.

Quite. Unlucky with injuries, apparently. Not that this troubles recruitment policy higher up the food chain.

Thought he was about to jump ship to Cardiff anyway, assuming Sharon doesn't get asked about it first!
