Opening a multi-faith prayer room from Saturday. Which this is obviously objectively excellent and progressive news & we should all be proud of the club, I believe the jokes about the timing of this and the correlation with our form write themselves. A prayer room in an Abbey with a Monk in charge and a team that has won Nun. That's going to take some beating, I doff my cap to you.

Yes in positive news we’ve announced something as pointless as the team in the last 6 league games.

It’s not going to affect your match day experience is it?

Isn't the point that it will hopefully encourage those who were put off by the lack of such a facility, or even improve the experience for those who already come.
I have no interest in religion but this has no impact on me.

I suspect better urinals would helped bring more in than this.
Hey ho, might get a few more fan engagement type points to make up for the lack of football ones.

Empty room cheaper than new toilets, we haven't played Man U for ages.

I would like to know if anyone has ever been put of from going to a football match / cinema / theatre / because it didn't have a pray / multi faith room. Some locations, such as a workplace or airport I can understand because you tend to be there for a longer period of time. Other locations, I just don't understand how it helps.

Mass is one thing Father, but the density you'd be dealing with is quite another.

We should see this as another aspect of the club as a welcoming community asset. You would be surprised the number of people from different faiths that do pray regularly; I know of footballers who do so before a game and need to find a quiet space to do this.

I've tried praying before our games this season & look what's happened
