Hello everyone, As this is a community forum for all United fans, I would welcome suggestions from anyone on how to improve the forum. Much of what you see is customisable, including the colour scheme, logo and background. If you have any suggestions as to how to improve the forum and your experience of it, I'm all ears. I've tried to make it look welcoming and obviously CUFC themed, but the main priority is for it to be clear, concise and easy to use. Please note other areas of the site, including the calendar page, which will essentially serve as a fixture list - but it will also highlight upcoming birthdays of members! Cheers, Russ

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of having a picture as the background. I quite like the Histon proboard forum as it's just nice & simple.

I tell you what, once we've got a few members here we'll have a poll. I have to say, it doesn't bother me, but you're the second person to say you'd prefer a plain background.
This is MUCH better than the Histon forum - grey/purple? Eurgh. Dull!

Hahah I wasn't saying I liked their colour scheme, rather the simplicity.

Oh no, we can't one-star people any longer - so that means Believer won't go all flouncy on us, which is a shame!

Don't worry you can 'exalt / smite' people instead

Likewise, just wanted to add my thanks to the list of people.
As for background, I have to admit having a plain background is my preference, partly as it's less conspicuous when I'm on here at work than if it has pictures plastered everywhere, but I'm easy either way really. My main criticism is that the nav links just above the message window are so closely coloured to the picture behind it that I can't really make them out (the ones that give you your forum path).
Otherwise, good work!

Are we going to have a load of weird Woking fans from the conference message board wandering on here and saying weird stuff?

Can we add some menus at the top, so when you are in a message you can click back to the main forum rather than clicking back on your browser?

Can we add some menus at the top, so when you are in a message you can click back to the main forum rather than clicking back on your browser? Some links are present at the moment; they can be seen above the amber menu bar with the 'search' and 'bookmark' buttons, at the top of the thread. However they aren't very obvious, and sometimes are hidden even more by clashing with the background.

Would it still be possible to have links to new stories on the official forum? Save me keeping 2 pages open at work

At last, a forum where you don't have to log in three times. Have a gold star and go to the top of the class.
