Hidden? It is still visible to me. Should be gone when the page properly reloads for everyone - you may need to fully refresh the forum homepage for that. Sadly we can't properly 'turn it off' from the admin end. If it's still there after a full refresh, please give me a shout. Could be worth looking in to. After a bit of trial and error, I've identified it has been hidden from view if your Forum Theme setting is 'Amber'. However, it is still visible if your Forum Theme is any of the other three settings. |

After a bit of trial and error, I've identified it has been hidden from view if your Forum Theme setting is 'Amber'. However, it is still visible if your Forum Theme is any of the other three settings. That's what I was missing! Completely forgot about those other themes. Should be hidden for everyone now. No idea when ProBoards will make a change. Last I knew they were working on a long-overdue rework, which didn't seem to be getting any closer to release.
I've attempted a workaround that should automatically change links so they work. Let's see how badly that mucks things up.

(The fix can't be automatically applied to posts people have already made, but you can go in and fix the link with the edit feature if you really want to.

Is there a way of blocking people completely? Or at the very least block threads completely. I don't want them hidden, just completely out of sight and mind.

You can block users yeah – go to their profile, then the cog icon. I seem to remember the option isn't there on mobile though, for some reason. |
