When you copy something, the link is for example :

So it doesn't show the post unless you click on it. . You have to change the twitter.com to twitter.com for it to display.

Oh, interesting. When I copy it's already twitter.com without the need for me to change.

Out of interest what internet browser do you use Andrew? Maybe its different on some sites to others?

We've recently had a bunch of guest accounts, normally with Boro-related names, posting some fairly unpleasant stuff in the 'shoutbox' on our forum homepage.

Since the shoutbox got relatively little use I've hidden the shoutbox to prevent people using/abusing it.

(I've also deleted the messages and banned the IP addresses the posts came from.)

Good stuff. Do you think you could unban Fred Colon? He was adding messages to keep the boro filth out of sight?

Thanks for catching that - banning Fred was a mistake in the first place. They've been un-banned now!

Should be gone when the page properly reloads for everyone - you may need to fully refresh the forum homepage for that. Sadly we can't properly 'turn it off' from the admin end.

If it's still there after a full refresh, please give me a shout. Could be worth looking in to.
