the racing/driving game (joyride) is quite good, in answer to the excelleration etc... you steer just like normal, re; moving, the game has a set speed but you can boost speed by pulling yor steering hands towards your chest then pushing them straight again. this is a fun game, but ive heard they are going to bring some good driving games more life- like, where you use your hand to open the door, when you turn your head you can look around the inside of the car and so on, this will be a far more advanced game, so i think this is where the x-box/kinect will be far better than the wii. technology has moved on so much especially when i used to get excited playin daley thompsons decathalon on the zx spectrum.

Haha, I used to love Daley Thompsons Decathlon. It was brilliant but the buttons wore out on the keyboard after a while! Before that I used to love the first football manager game I played on the ZX81. Just picked the team and waited for your result on the vidiprinter. So much easier than these new fangled affairs when you have to do everything!

The best thing about Football Manager was that it was written in 48k basic so you could hack into it and change all the team and player names.

It has arrived! Great technology and you can already see how rapidly the idea will develop. In a few years time, the Kinect will look quite rudimentary I imagine. The technology is mostly beyond my comprehension, but I have noted that it uses six (I think) points on the body to map movement. The most obvious evolution is to have a device that uses hundreds to fully map the body and transport an exact replica of the player onto the screen - warts 'n all.

We have a kinect and its pretty decent. The fitness evolved game is a beast, get jenno and the rest on that! Plus I think it tracks around 50 points on your body, its really responsive. the woman trainer is a twit, "lift your leg higher", "flip OFF I CANT GET THAT HIGH!!!"

Will look around for some new games after next pay day. I'm well up for a game where you can be a goalkeeper - chuck loads of pillows on the floor and dive all over the place. A tennis game would be really good too. Lots of potential.
