Our team are bloody awful on FM11.
It may just be down to me being a bit Ling-esque in my management style and tactics though

My version hasnt worked since December since a steam update, common problem of which they have no idea how to fix! Got united up to league 2 and was going well. Keeps crashing at the end of a match, very frustrating.

My favourite bit about these games is when you've been managing for a few years and have a peek at the "club legends" bit on the club information screen to see that one of the players you brought is being worshipped alongside the likes of Dion, Big Dave and Wannie.

Saah the best player and prob the only one who could play in league 2. On FM10 I was able to get us to the championship. I'm still trying to find whoever is the researcher for Cambridge on Football manager

So hard to work with Cambridge on Fm11.
I always finish 6th!!
Saah, Jennings, Gray, Willmott, Carden are the only ones I've kept. Year 3. Gave up...

People seem to suggest they want to play FM because it's realistic, then get bored if they can't get Cambridge into the Premier League within five seasons!

I haven't actually played as Cambridge United for a few versions now - it seemed to be too easy for a long time. Currently doing a good job as Vauxhall Motors, though

I like to start from the lowest playable league. Previously that's been Conf North/South - Bishop's Stortford were my preference. Got them into League One but got the boot after issuing an ultimatum over the low wage budget!

FM10's cambridge squad was much better. Took me 4 years to get to League 1. Then it all went tits up.
Fm11 though is pretty hard. Started a new game, form is a bit mixed.

I remember someone (vess?) started playing as CRC last year in the Ridgeons league using some editor patch.
I wonder how that went in the end?
