I'd forgotten just how farcical that situation was. Funnily enough though, had we simply appointed Herve outright at the time we might have done a lot better. We finished the 2003/2004 season quite strongly under him if I remember, before it all went pear shaped the following year.

On the ex-chairman front, I spoke to Gorgeous George while buying the milk today.
He said he still owns the land at Weymouth and is ''Happy to let them play there rent free......''
Oh, and he's not involved in football at the moment but might do so again in future, ''You have to evaluate things.....'' and, ''It's cost me a lot of money to be fair''
We don't half pick 'em.

Well I never....!
It was lovely to hear from the great man himself about his noble act of benevolence. The Weymouth fans must be very grateful.
I'd like to point out it was me buying the milk. George was buying tiger bread. Despite growing rumours, I can categorically state that George Rolls was not in Tesco Express applying for a job.

Curtis Haynes Brown
Played well when at Cambridge, injury did not help, but it was down to a lack of games while at Yeovil, and playing on a regular basis caused that, but he will be back playing in the bsp.as I know several clubs have paid interest ,Cufc will realise that .

It'd be so odd if a released footballer came on here to brag about...well, to brag about not having a club yet.
Heh.
Hope he does well - I half expected us to keep him on because he's a capable player at this level. Always got the feeling he was playing his very best and didn't have another gear to reach though, so I wasn't too shocked we let him go.
Certainly a better player than Wassamer (if you're reading this Charlie) who was one of the most accident prone players we've had for a while - the sort of player I imagine Sam Ainge would've been if he'd played for us more than once.

Using my powers, I just looked up the email account linked to 'ryley'.
I'll leave it at that.
