I don't think it's such a bad deal to be honest, he's got all the attributes to flourish in League 1 and push on to become a Championship player. If he does, then £1m probably looks like a very good deal at his age. Surprised it wouldn't be a longer contract though if those figures are true.

If those kind of numbers are going around we have no chance of signing a fair few of our initial targets I would think.
I loved Gassan, worked his socks off and banged in a fair few. But I was never expecting that level of fee, he's only got a year left on his contract too.

If those kind of numbers are going around we have no chance of signing a fair few of our initial targets I would think. I loved Gassan, worked his socks off and banged in a fair few. But I was never expecting that level of fee, he's only got a year left on his contract too. omg stop thinking like a small fish in a big pond. There's no reason at all that we can't throw millions around on players that barely survived relegation last season.

Obviously know more about Kai but seems odd that someone playing for Biggleswade last season has got that move? I wonder how much potential lost Transfer income this might cost us going forward... Instead of releasing why not offer them and let them reject it as then we still get some compo but now we get nothing and no sell on etc
