In fairness to Robbie he was a first team star in Brabin's first year, when he came into the first team a year early and probably would have benefited from another year with CRC, Coulson hasn't been given an extended run in the team before and that hasn't been his fault. Now he is playing every week he is more than holding down a position in the first team and looking like an excellent prospect for a team above this level.

Hopefully Bludson will come back and fulfil the potential he showed, and not do an Adam Davis.

Aye quite. He looked very promising in our worst team in history when he came back, just unfortunate that he never got a chance to really show it.
Same goes for Quinton really, he was much, much improved before he got terminally injured.

An update to Blaine's recovery would be nice - I heard over the weekend that he had originally hoped to be playing again by the end of January, but that is looking unlikely now.

I am pleased to be able to inform you all that my nephew Blaine Hudson returned to Cambridge last night!!! ;D He's improving all the time and can't wait to get back into playing again. I just hope when he's back to match fitness that he gets to play more first team football which is what he deserves.

I spoke to Blaine before the CRC match tonight.
He's now back in full time physio work with Greg Reid which is a good development. It's hoped he might be back in full training in / by a month's time, and with any luck if he's healing up better than anticipated that might be brought forward. He seemed very upbeat about things but doesn't seem to have a timescale in mind for when he might be playing competitive football.

No point in rushing him back.
He seems an excellent prospect and I look forward to see him playing regularly in the future.

Brilliant news There is no doubt in my mind that Blaine will go on to make many appearances for us over the coming seasons.
