.....Brian York took control of the club?
Or George Rolls for that matter?

I'd be concerned. Does George even have much money behind him?

If Rolls tried to take control of the club, i doubt he'd be on his own, he'd be the head of a 'consortium'?

.....Brian York took control of the club? Or George Rolls for that matter? That doesn't sound like a random question Chris.

Well, it would hardly be a surprise if both parties were looking into the possibility, would it?

Apparently Roach and Baldwin are also looking into the possibility of putting something together as well which again I suppose isn't surprising. God help us!
CFU taking over the club is looking more appealing by the minute.

Madmarvin, it is a random question, sort of. I've heard the odd whisper about certain parties sniffing around that wouldn't go down well with United fans, but then you always hear bits and bobs when news like a club sale comes up.

"Roach & Baldwin - hardly the best of buddies surely!" That's what I would have thought. This info did come from Sooty via the Histon village message board so I'd take it with a gallon of salt. Baldwin will obviously be looking into doing something though, wouldn't he?

Baldwin has no money to bring to the table though!

I thought there was a recent article somewhere though where Baldwin confirmed that he and Roach had buried the hatch and were back to being mates again, so I guess it's possible.
The idea of the club going through the same as last time with George Rolls is quite disturbing. Despite his motives, his tenure was nothing short of a disaster with the randomness of his decision making.

I'd be concerned. Does George even have much money behind him? He has thousands of pounds worth of WFC shares he "brought" for £150, which I'm sure he would need to get rid of before making any bit for CUFC.

I would laugh / cry / hold my head in my hands, then renew my season ticket and get on supporting the U's the same as the last 20 odd years.
