Betting odds have holden at 1/4 and bonner at 7/1 and second favourite. I hope this is accurate

There is literally nowhere else he would have the opportunity to forge & leave the legacy he can here – it's one of the most historic eras in our entire existence – & he knows it. That's why I don't shít the bed when any boring job becomes available at some larger League 1 or Championship team. What if a decent Championship club offering to quadruple his wages comes in for him? Money talks M.G. Cash in while he can and test and push himself further.

I don't think anyone believes there is no conceivable offer that could tempt Bonner away, but the points El Goodo raises are valid and underline the fact we're in a relatively strong position to keep hold of him.
For what it's worth, I'd be firmly in favour of making Bonz the highest-paid employee in the club's history!

The only club beginning with R that I'd accept Bonner going to is River Plate.

Watford have had a load of managers in the last few years but they have spent 6 out of the last 10 seasons in the premier league. A lot of bigger clubs would love to be able to say that.

The rumour mill doesn't usually swell at that level without just cause. I really hope he doesn't leave!

I'm preparing my pitchfork to march on Nanna Mexico and get El Goodo.

If it's true he's been interviewed today, then I hope beyond hope that he's just doing so for the experience. Which knowing Bonner would be the kind of thing he'd do - good professional development.
He's obviously going places, but he could get us into the championship and then clubs double the size of Rotherham would be coming after him, and that would be the least he deserves.
