Bonner in charge of Stevenage would be both utterly bizarre and completely logical.
Just want to see him back on the horse (not heroin, I mean management)
Edit: Never seen Evans move so fast, must have had an agreement with the chairman....
You'd expect Steve Morison to be in with a shout.

You'd expect Steve Morison to be in with a shout. Location and club size it fits for him. Evans will no doubt take a couple of players with him and leave whoever takes over his cloggers. I would expect them to ne nearer the bottom 8 next season than top 8 regardless of who takes over.

He's done a remarkable job there (rock bottom with 15 points from 24 games, 5 points from safety when he took over; if the season started when he took over, they'd be 16th with 22 points from 19). The fact they're even in with a shout at all of staying up at this point is entirely down to his management. That plus the geography plus his links to Stevenage make it almost inevitable imo.

Someone on another thread say they'd be found out. With Evans departing too can very much see them struggling next season, good news for us in terms of another team to be around us next season what with the strength of the promotion and relegation candidates from Champ and Lg 2.

Evans confirmed at Rotherham So, he's done a Harris! If Harris took us from almost being relegated out of the league to being a top 10 League One side... More like Evans being the lovechild of Arris and Bonner, which is quite the image. Pass the bleach!

Odd timing. By all means make the move but with two games to go you'd think Rotherham and Evans would just wait.

Scott Lindsey (Crawley) seems to be the name touted on social media as the one Stevenage want.

Bonner always seemed old for his years though. Imagine he’ll apply for Stevenage considering he went in for Port Vale. What makes you think he applied for the Vale job?

Come on, do keep up; we all know that squeeze spoke to the aunty of the cleaner of the men's toilets in Fez, who saw Bonner talking to the owners of PV when they visited to go punting down the river.
