Borderline psychopath, according to a season-ticket holder friend. Passing physical resemblance to DD, minus the charm & conviviality. Told the press via an interpreter that he had 'big balls' last week; yesterday he announced that he could see his face on the pitch. Frequently threatened the senior tarts with violence--& possibly a horse's head under the duvet.
The entire club's been an asylum for chancers, racketeers & the unhinged for a decade or more: little more than a clearing house for global agents who switch young players around Europe by the month. Little in the way of an identity, sadly.

Kavanagh gone from Carlisle no surprise after Saturdays showing well that was to be expected after Saturday I think he would have gone regardless of the result but the 5-0 thumping we gave them just put the final nail in his coffin so to speak, managers are going thick and fast at the moment I wonder who will be next.

Serves him right for being disrespectful to us! “ I’m embarrassed by the performance and by the fact we’ve been beaten so badly by a team which was promoted last season, with no disrespect to them." Kavanagh gone from Carlisle no surprise after Saturdays showing

Why is that disrespectful? Surely he's just stating facts there?

In the full article he implies that "they" shouldn't have been beaten by a team who won promotion last season. I find it hard to understand why he would be so surprised, for example, Luton also beat them on the first day of this season at their place. He's implying that we are not good enough to beat a team like Carlise, which is clearly not the case. Why is that disrespectful? Surely he's just stating facts there?

Why is that disrespectful? Surely he's just stating facts there? He was disrespectful to us in the manner and the way he said it, there fans are wanting a complete change up there from the directors down to the management staff, well at least they have made a start by getting rid of Kavanagh.

Classic manager's death rattle statement. Wouldn't say it was overly disrespectful, more like desperation. The Carlisle message board was full of criticism well before the game on Saturday.

That entireinterview read like a what's what of managerial casualty phrases. The players had no interest in playing for him and his comments there and during the game (and, of course, their 'performances') gave heavy emphasis to that. Well done to their board for acting so quickly.

Didn't see the Col U one coming, only got one point so far this season, but all league games have been close affairs against decent teams. Did they struggle at the end of last season?

My worry is one of these clubs are going to come in for RM if he keeps doing that great job here.

And of course RM is "Head Coach" not Manager. I also think he could be tempted away by a full blown offer from a higher league club. I hope it doesn't happen, but it is an outside risk. My worry is one of these clubs are going to come in for RM if he keeps doing that great job here.
