Should all foreign managers be sent to "Learn English so that you can actually communicate properly with everyone associated at your football club and media" camps before they're permitted the chance to manage an English football club? No.

Is this the daftest rule in football? "Increasingly aware of the need to compete with the English Premier League for the lucrative overseas television market, La Liga's bosses have realised a game played in front of packed stands provides a much better TV product, conveying a sense of atmosphere and excitement. To counter the unfortunate fact many Spanish grounds are often well below capacity (not helped by the league's unhelpful fixture scheduling), the authorities have taken the drastic step of introducing a new rule which will see clubs fined if the stand facing the main TV camera is less than 75% full. The league's rule book "strongly recommends accommodating season-ticket holders and other spectators" in the necessary seating, with judgments to be made on the decidedly low-tech basis of photographs taken by delegates after 30 minutes of each match." It's got to be up there!

I like Davie Provan, the Sky co-commentator but he thinks West Brom play in black and white stripes. And uncorrected by the main commentator. Should a colour blind test not be mandatory for working in the media?

Can people stop saying about rubbish players "did he win a competition?". Raised a small smile the first time but NO MORE.

By the same token, should all English managers and players working abroad have to learn the language of the country they are playing in? Imagine trying to teach Italian to Rush and Gascoigine FFS.

People who ask which team you support then follow it up with "but which Premier team do you support?" Then look totally confused when I say none.

Should a colour blind test not be mandatory for working in the media? Yes, I agree. Now, until such a time, I'm just going to have a little sing-song: "Yellow and black army." "Bounce, bounce Amber Army." "YELLOWS, yellows, yellows, yellows." "Shaun Derry's Amber Army."

The talk is that Jack Wilshere is set to reject advances from clubs abroad in order to move to either Palarse or 4th division Bournmouth.
Frankly, as an England fan, I'm disappointed. I think a move abroad would give him the sort of football and life education he can't get here.
I quite admire Joe Hart for chancing his biscuit arm in Italy.
