Pish accounts. 7.7m in wages !! Shows the gulf in financial resources between us. Transfer figures are impressive though, we can only dream of matching that.

Don't make me give my spiel again... Quite. They've probably about £40m coming in in summer. Yikes.

Don't make me give my spiel again... Quite. They've probably about £40m coming in in summer. Yikes. I'm not sure they're looking at close to that. If they have around 18% of the Toney sell-on (net, i.e., after they have paid Newcastle) that's potentially £8-11m (based on a £45-60m transfer fee). They might get another £9m in total from selling Edwards and Mason-Clark, so they're potentially looking at £20m if it all goes their way in the summer. On an alternative note, if it's allegedly worth £100m a season to be in the Premier League rather than the Championship, are Brentford going to be tempted by a £50m or £60m offer for Toney in the summer? And imagine what wages Toney will be able to command from an Arsenal or Chelsea move if they're not paying a fee for him. So, perhaps more in hope that expectation, I think Toney leaving on a Bosman next summer might be a very serious possibility. I might need to call TalkSport to mock Darragh Macanthony in person if that happens.

I can't imagine the circumstances I would wear a Peterboro shirt. I'd rather get new friends tbh.
