Yes, but they will be releasing a shed load of out of contract players, as all clubs will. That's where the wages will come from. According to their released list they've only released Paul Taylor. The rest are transfer listed with at least one year on their contracts. Yep, that's one of the things Baz is moaning about, not being able to get rid just yet. Plus the possibility of breaking financial fair play if they were to make any signings in the meantime. Not like Darragh to break the financial rules...

They have, however, agreed to sign Ricky Miller. It is a given he will score 20 before Christmas and leave for seven figures in January.

I actually don't think he will be any good at league one level, wasn't impressed with him against us and at 28 he isn't the normal young player they pluck out of non-league. Obviously he is a good player, he has 40+ goals this season. But it's a huge step up. This isn't based on anything other than gut feel really so I could be wrong

We should be in for Lee Angol but I would guess he'll end up at Mansfield with Evans.

Playing with better players will increase his opportunities, he could do well.

Fat Baz in yesterday's paper: Fry added: “We have accepted a bid for Angol from Lincoln, but he doesn’t want to go there. He thinks he can play higher".

According to the local press Lincoln paid over 100k as a loan fee so I guess the transfer fee must have been pretty large too.

Wouldn't mind betting they'll go for Roary Deacon. They seem to have a habit of being the ones to pick up the players who people are talking about. Knobs.

Maddison has been transfer listed as part of their policy to make any player entering the last year of their contract available for transfer. I would imagine he'll either sign a new deal or go to a higher placed/bigger club than that lot, absolutely zero chance he will end up in league two.

It's an interesting policy they have of transfer listing everyone who has a year left on their contracts. A bit pointless though it's not like clubs do their business based on transfer lists.
