Tonight I told Fat Baz that Cambridge United are the best team in the world! Good girl. Did he buy you a G&T? I caught him while getting into a taxi, he thought I was an adoring fan until he caught on.

Their XIs got bummed 5-0 by St Ives the other night. You'd think a reserve league one team would have enough about them to at least compete with a team 4 steps down the pyramid.

Michael Bostwick leaves Pish to join Lincoln! What an excellent signing for the Gimps...BBC Radio Pish always seem to rave on about him.

Thats a very good signing. Obviously taking a gamble with their cup money rather than fixing(LOL) toilets.

I think we did roll the dice a little. Roberts, Legge, Omozusi, Keane and Corr were all considered big signings at the time.
Apart from fixing toilets we also extended our commercial area with the cup money which has meant an increase in turnover which in turn has meant our longer term vision for sustainability in the league above isn't entirely pie in the sky.
It's about the bigger picture with United, remember. We're trying to grow something here.

Fair play to him. To be honest if United had a wealthy-ish backer I would want the same level arrogant ambition - put your money where your mouth is, b*tch - that soe
They're very obviously in a very different headspace to us. It's not really for me, I prefer something a little more sustainable and organic. A little more classy and less 'new money'.
We're building something. It'll last longer once it's done and it'll feel earned.

Didn't he say he'd leave Posh if they didn't win promotion last season?

Yes, I seem to remember him saying that or something similar on BBC Radio 'boroshire. Didn't he say he'd leave Pish if they didn't win promotion last season?
