Follows on from the council saying they might not have enough money to fund the city centre christmas lights this year.
So, effectively, McAnthony is now stealing christmas from the people of Peterborough, as well as from grannies for their dodgy timeshares.

Tickets selling well for November 9th, personally think they will be all gone by Saturday night, wonder if they will release more if we sell out quickly?

I doubt it, looks like we've got the same allocation as last season. I think the tickets will go a bit more slowly now after the initial rush of yesterday. Can't see it selling out any time soon.

If the ticket office X account is to be believed, then we had 1000 on general sale last season, meaning only 600 odd were sold to ST holders and those with priority points. I find that figure slighty strange as if we had 3000 ST holders then thats only about a 20% take up. I understand that perhaps not many kids went or people were put off because of the 'trouble' the year before, but thats a lot of ST not attending?

Early kick-off would have put off a few too

Season ticket holders could also have bought during the general sale period, so it will be hard for us to guess the actual number (the club will know).

A full week on General sale and only just over 1,000 tickets sold after lots of ST holders complained that there was no priority window. 600+ tickets still available and if there was a priority window it would have been over by now.

Fears of trouble? Fears of apathy? Fears of another embarrassment? Who knows but given this could be the last derby with them for a while and a normal 15:00 kick off I'm surprised there's still so many tickets left.

A lot of things could happen before we face them. Hopefully a few wins under our belt and an FA Cup victory. On the flip side of that we could still be winless and exit the cup in embarrassing fashion which would surely lead to someone else being in charge for the game. I guess people are playing a waiting game.

So last year...I basically squashed a good night out in London and then drove back home at 1:00 in the morning to ensure I could attend the game at London Road. We all know how that ended up. This year a friend offered me a ticket for England v Australia at Twickenham and I didn't even bat an eyelid when accepting it.

A lot of people don’t bother with Peterborough away now because it’s just too much hassle. Expect we will sell out eventually though
