Cambridge City 3 CRC 3 according to city forum. Newport lose 3-2 having 2 sent off in time added on (can't believe that they are so high in the table, thought they were nothing special at our place. Alfreton win again 2-0 against Workington (it's going to be tough in the FAT)

Suddenly the play-offs don't look quite so far away - if we can beat Newport we're right in it.

Have to say I really fancy our chances against Newport now with their current run of form. Really hope we don't draw at Alfreton because there really can't be a much better time to play Newport.
Also they are currently 9 points ahead of us having played 2 games more, the playoffs will seem even closer if we win

Ooh good point I'd forgotten the Trophy takes precedence. Yeah, I'd definitely rather we play Newport now..

The last three matches they've lost have been to injury-time goals - 94th minute v Bath, 96th minute v Southport, and 94th minute tonight.
If we're level pegging with them going into stoppage time, they will certainly be on edge!

When was the last time we scored an injury time winner?

Agreed Russ. Our play off charge could really begin if we can get three points at Alfreton.

FGR in the trophy. I think that's the only goal we've scored in the 90th minute or later. We've conceded 7. Maybe we're not fit enough.
