Given that Theresa May has cancelled tomorrow's withdrawal agreement vote because she believes it will be defeated, perhaps we could postpone all of our league games until we think we might actually avoid defeat?

There was a story a few weeks ago about an Irish club postponing a game due to the 'death' of a former player. Then it emerged that the player was alive and well, and that the club had contacted him in advance to inform him that they were going to put some kind of message out about him. I assume that was all done with the aim of avoiding playing a game.

Of course alcohol was involved A group of friends including quite a few players went on a stag party and would be in no fit state to play. Fernando the Spanish player had meanwhile returned to Spain so the drinkers put out a story that he had been killed in a road crash. The game was postponed and messages of sympathy flooded into the club Meanwhile Fernando was in Spain reading about his demise ?? The club will get a slapping from the league administrators haha though it wasn’t the club officials to blame, more then hard drinking players
