It’s the scum.
I’ll be watching and hope we fucking hammer them. I don’t care if it’s the under 7s that play as long as they fight for it from the 1st minute to the last.

I've 100 percent boycotted it, and don't regret missing the Fulham even if it proves to be the only time i may have watched United live this season, but i reckon we're allowed to hope for a crushing victory on Tuesday

The only reasons I want us to win is for the momentum and to give fringe players minutes. The opposition is an irrelevance as is the competition. I know the money would be welcome, but I'm also aware that that is the very carrot they dangled to get skint lower league clubs to allow B teams in.

Could give a flying **** about this pizza cup, I don’t want further injuries to our players, we should be putting out all the fringe players and bonner should get himself registered and play as well, maybe get Ian darler on as well.

I'm a bit surprised they've not reduced the iFollow price for this one. Why should they expect fans to pay the same for what is effectively a dead rubber in a 3rd rate competition as for an FA Cup or league match? I'd seriously consider paying a fiver to watch from my sofa, but am less inclined to shell out a tenner....

I sometimes wonder if we are approaching this from the wrong angle. If we do not go to the game or watch on ifollow then the club suffers and the EFL are not really affected. What if we were to email the marketing department of the competition sponsors telling them why the competition is not a good idea in it's current format and that we therefore will not consider them as a vendor for whatever their product is. The sponsors are only covering competitions like this to increase their market share, if the competition were to be made "toxic" then the EFL would not get the sponsors money and they might then sit up and take notice. Just a thought on a quiet day.

I guess...although I think that should be in addition to a boycott not instead of. I wouldn't want to risk any sort of show of support for this competition at all.
You'd hope the fan groups would get together and throw their collective weight at something like this as they did during the coordinated protest after the ITVD collapse for example. I have no idea what the general fan group consensus is though(?).

How about CFU or CUSP set up a crowd funding page where a tenner can be deposited with the club getting the whole amount. Nothing to the EFL, no VAT and no sharing with the opposition.
I might get a Dominos pizza too.

OK here goes, we`ve got to play this thing whether we like it or not and good opportunity to give Andy Dallas a full 90 mins while protecting Mullin, Ironside and others !
Simple 4-4-2
Burton Davies,Darling,Cundy,Iredale El Mizouni,May,Hannant,Knowles Knibbs, Dallas
Subs. Mitov,Taylor.....plus Worman,Simper,Dickens,Neal all recalled from their loans for the month !
Do I think it will happen ? Not really, but it vitally protects a big chunk of our 1st Team for Saturday and beyond !!
