Are people still following this heinous competition? Fair enough if you are hoping it will include our B Team one day.

Aye, though Waddock said it was a slight knock and seemed to imply he could be in the mix for tonight if he's recovered OK.

Lack of left hand side options means that Dunk & Iredale will probably have to play again unless we blood a youth team left back. Would be concerned about an injury to either at the moment.

Bizarre team considering the amount Saturday must've taken out of the team and how many proper games we have coming up.

Playing Wes in a reserve comp after how we saw Pompey play last time seems very risky.
Think it's a bit bizarre considering the importance of the upcoming league games. I guess we have limited squad options but why not give Yearn and McConnell and the other youth players who have been on our bench recently a run out. No one really cares if we get smacked 8-0 in this joke of a trophy.

A little surprised at how strong that is but there's decent prize money on offer in this competition and a realistic chance of getting to Wembley now we've got to this point, so I guess that's behind Bonner's thinking.
For Hoolahan, he's played 35 minutes since 4 December, so a chance to get a bit of match time into his legs. Doubt he'll play more than 60 mins max.

How much for the winners? That’s two very strong line ups.

Strong looking team but I guess there isn't an awful lot of choice given the number of players out. It's either go strong or field a few more youth.
Would have liked a few more youth on the bench with Dickens but you can't blame Bonner getting cup fever now we can smell wembley.

100k last year and 50k for the runners up on top of money already won, I think.
