I'm amazed by that line up and Wes playing on a Tuesday. Hope no one gets injured tonight because the next 3 league games are far more important than the B team Cup.

Strong looking team but I guess there isn't an awful lot of choice given the number of players out. It's either go strong or field a few more youth. Would have liked a few more youth on the bench with Dickens but you can't blame Bonner getting cup fever now we can smell wembley. Andrew It's hard times alright, Bonner clearly has great expectations in this competition.

Wow, can only assume we re-wrote Wessi’s contract at the weekend as he doesn’t play Tuesdays…
Very strong line up which does surprise me a little but in Bonz we trust!

I'm guessing Bonners thinking is to use a lot of the first team to keep them focused on games rather than still living out the Newcastle euphoria
Get then settled in this game rather than the key league game vs Lincoln
Or we just don't have enough players!!
Hopefully we get through unscathed

So many questions about this line-up. Why so strong? Why is Wes playing on a Tuesday? Where are the likes of Yearn and Connell? Why not give Worman and Mannion a start?

Wes probably hasn't played any serious minutes for ages has he? Probably needs a good 45 to get him back up to speed after the games over Christmas being cancelled.

I'm glad they forgot to bring the bell today. Maybe the guy with the bell has class and is boycotting, as everyone else should.

For Hoolahan, he's played 35 minutes since 4 December, so a chance to get a bit of match time into his legs. Doubt he'll play more than 60 mins max.

Earning the living he's stealing with the prize money from his goals in this and the FA Cup.
