Digging around in the man cave and came across this. Gave it a runout for the first time in more than 3 decades. Must’ve been about 16 when I bought it (Edit - bought it in a little shop while on holiday in Ayr (see kids, you’ll never have that with digital)). Appears there are a few of us on here from a similar vintage. Great memories.... View AttachmentView AttachmentWow, vintage. I could make love to the rhythmic floor tom on Pretty Vacant. God that sounds awful!! Anyway I can safely say here in E Barnwell there is more life in a tramp's vest.

Been smashing Slow Readers Club lately. They are to White Lies what White Lies are to Editors, only possibly a touch better.
Not quite punk enough but hey.

Yep, great tune that one Shubs. I'm not one for pigeonholing bands but I always though Penetration is more like post punk/new waveish than proper punk. Or am I contradicting myself now?!? Anyways, I had Moving Targets on cd but I think I lent it to someone and whoever it was thought they'd keep it. 'Cos why not like? I just realised/kinda forgot that SOCIETY is live on Grin and Bear It along with BB and SUS. "This one's the same in French or English....." Can Ruffy still play that quickly, I wonder? He's 65!
