I'm sure that Taylor showed a similar outburst on the pitch against Carlisle to the Iredale incident. Didn't he grab someone by the neck?
Also the attempted overhead against Derby was really clumsy and could have been much worse for him and us.
I'm now of the opinion that he's too much of a liability to have near the first team. I reckon he's cost us more points than he's earned us since being here.

He missed badly. And took out a player at the same time.

Comparisons between professional football and most other jobs are utterly bizarre. Why? I'm not sure this can be a serious question! Anyway, it is still, on the field of play at least, a sport, with physical contact and confrontation, also with an audience. Any sport with this will have completely different emotional responses to every other 'normal' job I can think of. A disagreement with Janet from accounts is hardly the same as taking sly kicks from a giant centre-half. You are unlikely to be booed by four thousand people for skipping your turn at making the coffee. No two jobs are the same, granted, but being paid to be a sportsperson is unique and within that professional football is unique because of what it means to so many. I think because football is, for many of us at least, an escape from our own lives we feel the need to make what we do comparable when it is usually anything but.

What did Janet do though? She fucking knows! I have it on good authority that Janet will not be travelling with the squad this weekend.

All I'm going to say is that any "fan" who boos or abuses any Utd player ahead of the final whistle tomorrow is a f**king tool. That includes Taylor.
Even if we are 3-0 down, there can be a big difference between losing 3-0 and losing 3-1 if Burton only draw, so we need everyone fighting until the final whistle. Everyone.
Lyle Taylor has not been perfect but neither have our fans. None of that matters come kick of tomorrow.
So I hope if he plays that the away support sing his name loud and proud. It might surprise him into scoring a worldie to keep us up. Which is all that matters.
Frank exchanges of opinion on the matter can wait until we're either safe or down.
