Taylor inexplicably pulled his guy down as the ball came in. I can explain it: he's a moron.

I think Monk was just being very clever in what he said. We need the team together, him coming out and publicly blaming Taylor wouldn’t be very wise. What he said and what he actually thinks are probably two very different things.

So many positives from last night. Will Mannion- Brilliant- Number 1 for sure. Lennett- Brilliant performance. Gibbons- Wholehearted-had a stormer. Digby- True leader. Heartbeat of Cambridge. Brophy- 100% Gives everything. Had really good impact. Gasson- When he's on the pitch we are a good mid-table team: when's he off the pitch we struggle. Kaikai- Put a shift in, great feet. Love how MJ prounounces his name. Okedina- Really grew into the game and played extremely well. Gary Monk- In really difficult circumstances prepared the team really well and is really using Lennett and Brophy well. We still have a huge job to do so don't want to waste energy on the negatives. Thanks, I needed some positivity:) I think it was the way one individual screwed up the hard work of everyone else last night that made it harder to handle. The whole side put in a decent shift last night. Digby, again, my MotM.

I think especially so with an influential character like Taylor. Whatever else he may be he's definitely charismatic and you don't want to be around that sort of influence when it's turned against you.
For now at least I think we're handling the prick quite well having bizarrely challenged his red card to protect his fragile insecurity, and now refusing to moan about him after his stupidity yesterday. Not that we're getting any reward for it but that says more about him than it does Monk.
Can't wait to see the back him though.

I'm still more angry with Bonne. No wonder Gassan wasa knackered he did all the running, heading, pressing. Bonne was so lazy in that first half when we did break on the counter he basically marked their centre back and pointed at everyone else. I really don't understand what he brings. At least Taylor up top will try and hold it up. Sub should have been Taylor for Bonne, May for KaiKai, that's it.

Bonne genuinely has one of the worst first touches and some of the slowest feet I've ever seen at L1 level. The one thing he is half-decent at is winning flick-ons.

Quite worried that Monk thought his substitutions were right. Wrong people going off and on and the timing was not great either just after we had the momentum and the crowd was right behind the players. It all went very flat very quickly. Hope he doesn't repeat this too often.

Hope he doesn't repeat this too often. I think it's probably just a case of not going too hard on Taylor (weapon), Fej (permacrock), and Lank (lacking match fitness?) while we've still got something to play for. Even if they don't play another game, we could do without them stinking up the place.

Hope he doesn't repeat this too often. How can you legislate for a striker giving away a pen? You can't keep the same players on - they get tired. Opposition have fresh legs and we need to do the same. You rarely sacrifice a CDM or defender unless chasing the game so taking a couple of strikers off made sense. Fej has got goals earlier this season, Taylor is a genius/idiot based on his games for us. It makes the opposition rethink. The only players he could really take off would be Kaikai, Kach, Bonne and Adhadme. Potential Brophy. Ahadme has played a lot since injury and if felt he was getting tired was the right decision. Had he not made those subs and we conceded many would criticise that!

Fejiri might have lost the injury but found a few pounds a long the way, was like a fridge trying to get around that pitch.

This is slightly hyperbolic, given that his mobility is the only thing keeping him in the team over Taylor and Okenabirhie.
