I have no problem with him telling them to flip off in the moment, it’s the taking to socials to call them pathetic and continue the whole stupid thing that’s the issue for me.
I’m really looking forward to happier and more fulfilling connections with our new players next season.

Taylor strikes me as the kind of guy who just wants to be talked about. It doesn't matter what the attention is so long as he's at the centre of it because in some way it gives him validation.
He strikes me as an incredibly insecure man and tbh I feel a bit sorry for people like that.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Monk has already told him to flip off. If he hasn’t, he soon will be.

Looking forward to the MELTDOWN when he signs a new 2-year contract & assumes the captaincy after Morro's career-ender sees him retire and Digby is sold to Wrexham.

If I was Monk he would be gone now, and I'm pretty certain him posting that will see him dropped on Saturday and he should have all his remaining wages given to Dunk.
As joffjog says the in the moment telling the fans to f*** off isn't a huge issue but the fact that is his post game comment, and not any level of responsibility for the stupid penalty he gave away shows all you need to know. Similar to the Bolton red, a complete lack of responsibility for his actions is just not something you want in a player - especially one with his level of experience who shouldn't even be making those mistakes in the first place. Honestly can't remember the last player I've felt this amount of animosity towards while still playing for us

If you don’t want to be booed and called a wanker on the pitch, don’t be one.
I’d be against ‘booing our own’ in probably 99% of circumstances and still unlikely to join in on the rare occasions I could condone it. However if he really thinks it’s unreasonable to vocalise displeasure at his actions/performances on the pitch since the snake slithered off, it says a lot more about his combination of astounding arrogance and paper thin skin than it does about those giving him some.

For me, Bonne is currently vying with Neil Horwood and Jon Rigby as the least mobile striker I've ever seen in an amber shirt. This is slightly hyperbolic, given that his mobility is the only thing keeping him in the team over Taylor and Okenabirhie. Whichever rationale Monk uses to pick him over Fejiri and Taylor, I doubt it's his mobility. I wouldn't say Ahadme was that mobile either but his work rate is excellent and despite Fejiri's lack of mobility his work rate is also good (when fit). Taylor just can't be bothered.

Taylor acting like the grown-up, professional athlete he is 🙄 View AttachmentDidn’t the snake tell a member of the crowd to ‘feck off’? Like surrogate father, like wannabe son. Really doubt he’ll appear on Saturday after that.

No issue with Lyle having a go back at the time on the pitch.
My issue is that he needs to recognise his own failures and why this happened.
Surely he can’t look at his career and can’t work out why pretty much the fans of every club he has ever played for hate him.

Like I said, we've still got a job to do. Don't need to worry about Lyle getting into a social media spat with a supporter who was probably full of emotion/tension when they posted.
Lyle will know that he has bad better games and if he scores the winner on saturday he will have every cambridge fan singing his name.

Yeah I’d say you’re spot on. Perhaps words were shared in the dressing room after the game too. Or maybe were barking up totally the wrong tree!

He'll be in the squad & if we're losing come the final 20 minutes will be on the pitch. Part of me thinks he may even start.
