I can’t give a definitive answer but I suspect not as most would be too old now.
Yearns at Chelmsford City who are playing tonight.
McConnell and Hoddle may feature I guess.

Yearn and McConnel play. Hoddle is another one I was impressed with in last year's cup run
Chadwick the standout name for obvious reasons.

I think you're misinterpreting my point as "shorter players can't score headers" whereas it was a much more banal - wow well done Mr Yearn you've done well

LIONEL MESSI.
Good result for the youth. Was it the 5th round they got to last year?

Talking of Luke, I see he made a rare sub appearance for Luton last night. Always on the bench these days. I don't suppose when January comes along ......

U's were good last night. You'd assume Pompey would be a tough game in the next round, assuming they beat Three Bridges tomorrow.
It was a more physical game than usual at U18 level. It took Yearn a while to realise it was a proper game rather than a tippy tappy one, when he'd cut out the unnecessary tricks and flicks in the first half he was a cut above in the second. Not surprising that McConnell as the other young pro also stood out, but there are quite a few who are worth keeping tabs on.
I really like George Hoddle, combines being elegant in possession with being up for getting stuck in and he wins more than his share of tackles. I'd be amazed if he doesn't get pro terms. Lott put in a blinding cross for the first Yearn goal and then thumped in a good header himself, always handy bonuses for a centre back. Barton is dynamic going forward and impressed me last year when I saw him a few times, but may be held back by being so small. Sandiford at full back looks strong too. Cochrane for Stevenage was good, turns out he's had a start in League Two.

You'd imagine Kai would be back in January to boost the first team squad or would a year of 'mens' football down Chelmsford serve him better? If you're good enough youre old enough as they used to say. Big jump sure but cover for injuries, suspensions, loss of form etc. Would bring a different dimension. Benno back too.
