Once he's here I will be pleased to have him back, but that's going to leave us with 3 30+ aged CB's. Where it leave's Taylor is probably out of the door either this window or in the summer I guess as well. I wonder if the Morrison deal was one planned for the summer but has been accelerated by the Cowley's sacking. I can't see us playing Morro & R Bennett together as they will get exposed pace wise so I imagine it may be a 3 with Jones once fit.

I don't think that's much of an issue personally, not in the situation we're currently in. I think Taylor will be gone in the summer regardless (the fact that he's been removed from the team at the first opportunity throughout this season, even ahead of Williams out of position at LCB in a back 3) I think says it all from Bonner's side.

That might well have been Taylor's last ever appearance yesterday, if so not a nice way for such a great servant to end his United career.

Yeah, I thought it was all pointing towards Taylor leaving in this window tbh but then Rossi and Jones got injured so I'd consider it unlikely right now.
I guess if Jones returns, Morro signs and we consider Williams a centre back in a back 3 then he still might leave. That leaves us with five players for three places.

Kentish I quite expect we will see Taylor again, Bonner will use him as a benchwarmer and I expect, at the very least, to see him make an appearance in the final game so he can get the farewell a loyal (and sometimes unfairly maligned) servant to the club deserves. (I just hope that the opportunity to do that arises, I'd hate for us to be clinging on to a point or 3 on the final day against FGR to secure safety and Bonner to have the dilemma of whether to 'risk' putting Taylor onto the pitch!)

Nah, can't see him leaving in this window, not with Ibsen Rossi not back until April.

Am I missing something but has Morro actually signed? Not officially but the Pompey manager has said he is joining us in an interview after their game yesterday

An interesting and highly vocal chap was telling all and sundry earlier that Morro was here as Player Manager. So there you go, you heard it here first, unless you heard him first!

Well, there's no official announcement as yet.
Make of that what you will. I would of expected there to be an announcement by now.

Seems very strange that Portsmouth has effectively announced he has joined Us but nothing from us. Don’t think that kind of odd way round of communication happens very often

If Morrison does sign it seems we have a ready- made replacement for Bonner, especially in view of what Andrew was saying about the qualifications Morrison has. I'd be surprised if it happens immediately but worry a little about the dynamics in the dressing room with Bonner in charge and his potential successor playing for him. I'd trust them both to be as professional as possible, though so perhaps I shouldn't be too worried.
