Absolute carnage in the away end at that Bennett substitution. Proper toxic. Loads turning on Bonner with that one! The obsession around him this year has been ridiculous all year. Great young player but hyping him up as the saviour returning from loan and pinning you hope on him at 2-0 down is not going to help him. Player of the season at Walsall, player of the month on his return, and from the tail of last season to current day, he's looked our liveliest player. Nobody is calling him the saviour. It's weird that so many people are acting like they have. He's a dynamic young player that offers more going forward than anyone else we've got. It's not pinning your hopes on someone to think the better performers are likely to perform better, and the mass hysteria to the contrary is daft and disingenuous. |

We have had two decent performances in a row and now we've had a real setback. This Tuesday, in particular, and next Saturday, are absolutely huge. I wouldn't lose heart in getting defeated by a team going for promotion, even if the manner is hugely disappointing.
