On Twitter, yes, although so far not on this thread. Which is pretty much the point I'm making. Being outnumbered doesn't mean you are wrong! You don't need to tell me that. People used to believe that the world was flat. And people used to believe that sending Bennett on loan was a good idea. Craziness.

I wouldn't say defensively he's average but I would agree he gets himself in trouble at times. This is why I think he'd be better as a wing back or winger, but that's for another day (tomorrow probably). I think Bennett performs at such a consistently high level, higher than most of our players, that many of our fans take that for granted. I think he plays with a sense of freedom, more than most players. In a way its like we used to play at school or down the park. A lot of young players do that, hence the positives about Njoku after his cameos.

The club have to do the Twitter poll because the MOM sponsors want it. It was bought up by CUSP in one of their meetings. In a way its daft as they do it whilst the game is still on when most people are still watching it rather than on their phones on Twitter! Not sure who picks the players for the MOM poll or the POM poll either.

Craziness. Bless, I love it that you have chosen the Lennet loan as the hill you will not be moved from. It's funny because it's something which can't be proved for 100% fact either way (so not really like the flat earthers as I think it was 'science' which disproved that theory)!

I voted Lennett on X, and he's my favourite current player for the same reason I will always adore Courtney - I go to watch Cambridge United for the atmosphere, the sense of belonging, and very occasionally to be entertained.
The atmosphere & belonging I get even if we're flat or abysmal, but which player consistently entertains me every time I watch? Lennett.
I'm not blind to his flaws but when he's got the ball it feels exciting, and when he's chasing back having lost the ball/man he so often pulls something out of the hat that that's exciting too.
When he leaves us, as he surely will, I'll be sad in way I haven't been since...well, 2010...

Science will eventually disprove supposed merits of the Lennett loan. Once they've solved climate change and cancer they'll be on it.

I have engaged a Russian troll farm to get Andrew over the line.

Another vote for Andrew here. Interestingly, Fotmob has Andrew and Bennett as having been two of our top three best players so far this season:
Stevens: 6.98 Andrew: 6.98 Bennett: 6.97
Plenty of debate to be had around the value of Fotmob's player rating system and the stats they use, but in my mind Andrew and Bennett have performed similarly this season so I'm with Fotmob all the way (until their rating system disagrees with one of my opinions).

If I was on Twitter (they messed up my account ages ago) then I'd vote Stevens or maybe Andrew. Then I'd leave Twitter. X isn't going to give it to you. They should have renamed it buffering. Set up for a 160-character limit, then include data intensive videos. Genius.

On the topic of Danny Andrew, when he first joined I was quite critical of him and I don't take that back because his performances at the time were poor.
But where I was wrong was to assume his poor performances at the time made him a bad player. He's got better and better as the season has progressed, under both coaches, and deserves a lot of credit.
